Will my reading contain bad news or predict something terrible happening to me?

This is one of the questions I'm most glad people ask, because the answer matters deeply to how I work. No, I do not predict doom, deliver bad news for its own sake, or use fear as any part of my practice. Ever.

Tarot, in my hands, is not a crystal ball. It reflects the energies, patterns, and possibilities present in your life right now, not a fixed future carved in stone. You always have free will. Nothing is predetermined. The cards illuminate; you choose what happens next.

That said, I will always be honest with you. If something in your reading calls for a gentle truth, I will deliver it with compassion, empathy, and care for your wellbeing. My intention is never to frighten or overwhelm. It is always to empower.

How does a remote session work? Can energy really travel across distance?

The short answer is yes, and here is why. Energy is not confined by physical space. Everything is made of energy at its fundamental core, and that energy is not bound by geography, time zones, or the distance between us. This is the principle that underlies all distance healing traditions, and it is something I have experienced firsthand in my own practice countless times.

For recorded sessions (tarot, akashic records, and distance reiki), here is what happens: once you book and complete your intake, I prepare my space, set my intention for your greatest and highest good, and open myself as a clear channel for whatever needs to come through. I record your session, lay out your cards or conduct your reiki, and deliver everything to your inbox within five days. You receive a recording you can return to again and again, which many clients find more valuable than a live session, because the messages often reveal new layers on each listen.

For live Zoom sessions (mediumship and reiki lungo) we connect in real time, face to face, and the session unfolds as a genuine conversation between us.

The distance between us changes nothing about the quality, depth, or accuracy of what arrives. Your energy is present the moment you book.

Do I need to believe in tarot, reiki, or mediumship for it to work?

Not necessarily. Curiosity and an open mind are far more important than belief. Many of my clients have arrived skeptical and left transformed, not because I convinced them of anything, but because the work spoke for itself.

That said, your energy and receptivity do matter. A session approached with genuine openness, even if tinged with doubt, will always yield more than one approached with arms firmly crossed. You don't need to believe. You just need to be willing to receive.

What if my reading doesn't resonate with me?

Readings can land in different ways and at different times. Something that doesn't make sense the moment you receive it may become clear days, weeks, or even months later as events unfold and patterns reveal themselves. I always encourage clients to sit with their reading before drawing conclusions; many have come back to tell me that something they initially dismissed turned out to be the most significant part of the session. One client reached out the morning after his reading to say simply: "Wow, you're really good at this." He hadn't understood it in the moment. By the next day, it all came together.

That said, if something genuinely doesn't resonate, trust yourself. You are always your own authority. My role is to offer what comes through with honesty and care. What you do with it, and whether it fits, is entirely yours to decide.

Can you predict the future?

Not with certainty, and here is why that actually matters. The future is not fixed. It is shaped by your choices, your energy, and the free will of everyone involved. In a relationship reading, for example, you are working with two people's energies simultaneously, and you only have sovereignty over your own. What another person chooses is always theirs to decide, and no reading can override that.

What I can do is illuminate the energies, patterns, and possibilities present in your life right now: the currents at play, the paths available, and the potential outcomes of the directions you are currently moving in. Think of it less as a weather forecast and more as a compass. I can show you where the energy is pointing. The destination is always yours to choose.

Your future belongs to you. I am simply here to help you see it more clearly.

What is the difference between tarot and mediumship?

Both practices are rooted in energy, but they are distinct in how that connection is made and where it reaches.

In a tarot reading, I connect with your energy directly; your guides, angels, and higher self are invited to illuminate what comes through. The cards become a mirror for your path, your patterns, and your possibilities. It is an intimate, personal conversation between your energy and whatever wisdom is ready to surface.

Mediumship requires a different kind of connection entirely. Rather than connecting with your energy directly, I shift my vibration, raising it as high as I can, while those on the other side lower theirs, and we meet joyfully in between. What comes through may be a loved one, a guide, an angel, an ascended master, or a beloved pet. The messages can speak to grief and closure, but also to purpose, direction, and the path ahead. Those in Spirit often have a great deal to say about the life you are living right now.

Both practices are held with the same care, consent, and intention, and always for your greatest and highest good.

How do I prepare for my session?

The most important thing you can bring to any session is an open mind and an open heart. That's it.

It is completely normal to feel excited, nervous, or even skeptical before your first reading; all of that is welcome here. Take a breath, settle in, and simply be open to whatever comes through. You don't need to prepare a list of questions, research anything in advance, or arrive with any particular beliefs. If you have a specific question or intention, you are welcome to share it during the booking process. If you don't, that's perfectly fine too.

The work will meet you exactly where you are.

Can you do a reading for someone else on my behalf?

This is a question worth answering carefully, because it touches on something I hold very seriously: consent.

If you are booking a reading for yourself and want to ask about another person in your life, that is absolutely welcome. Relationships, connections, and the people we love are a natural part of any reading. I will read the energy from your perspective and your experience of that connection.

What I will not do is conduct a reading on another person without their knowledge or consent. Everyone has the right to energetic privacy, and I honor that without exception.

For children, pets, or those who are unable to give verbal consent, I always ask permission energetically, directly to their soul and higher self. There is always a clear yes or no, and I honor it completely. Everything that comes through is held with the intention of their greatest and highest good, and nothing else.

What if the person I want to connect with doesn't come through in a mediumship session?

This is one of the most important questions I can answer honestly, because managing expectations around mediumship is something I take seriously.

One thing worth knowing before your session: I ask that you do not tell me in advance who you are hoping to connect with. This is intentional. The power of mediumship lies in the validation, in me describing who steps forward without prior knowledge, and you recognizing them. That recognition is the evidence that the connection is real.

That said, you are absolutely welcome to set your own private intention before your session, to hold in your heart the person you are hoping to hear from and ask them to come through. I will hold the intention on my end as well that whoever most needs to reach you will step forward. Who comes through is ultimately up to Spirit, and I can never guarantee a specific connection.

If the person you are hoping to hear from doesn't come through, please know it is not a reflection of their love for you or their presence in your life. Our loved ones are always with us. Always. It may simply mean that in that moment, Spirit wants you to hear or focus on a different message, one that is perhaps more important right now than you realize.

Whatever arrives, I will share it with warmth, honesty, and the deepest care. Nothing that comes through is an accident.

Are sessions recorded?

Most sessions are delivered as audio recordings sent directly to your inbox, along with a photograph of your card spread so you can follow along as you listen. Where applicable, written notes or any additional impressions that came through are included as well. Many clients find this one of the most valuable aspects of working with me remotely: you can return to your reading again and again, and often find new layers on each listen.

For live reiki sessions via Zoom, the energetic work itself is conducted with a blank screen; recording that portion wouldn't capture the experience in any meaningful way. The closing debrief, however, where anything that came through is shared and discussed, can be recorded for your reference upon request.

For live mediumship sessions via Zoom, written notes are taken during the session and shared with you afterward. Please reach out if you have specific questions about recording options for your session.

All sessions are held in complete confidentiality. What happens in your reading stays between us.

How long until I receive my session?

For all recorded sessions (tarot, akashic records, and distance reiki), you will receive your reading within five days of booking. In practice, it is often sooner, but I build in that window to ensure every session receives the time, care, and attention it deserves.

For moon readings (the New Moon Macchiato and Full Moon Mocha) sessions are delivered within two days of the relevant moon, so the energy is as alive as possible when it arrives in your inbox.

For live Zoom sessions, your appointment is confirmed at the time of booking, and we connect at the scheduled time.

Once your session has been delivered, if you haven't received it, please check your spam folder first. If it still hasn't arrived, reach out directly at coffeecuporacle@gmail.com, and I will make it right.

Can spirits or guides come through during a tarot or reiki session?

Yes, and it is one of the most beautiful aspects of this work.

While tarot and reiki sessions are not mediumship offerings, I am an open channel during every session, and Spirit can come in to help, relay messages, or provide support in whatever way is needed. This can show up as a message, an impression, an image, or a feeling that arrives and simply needs to be shared. A loved one, a guide, or an angel may wish to say something to you. It isn't a guaranteed part of these sessions, but it happens, and when it does it tends to be exactly what was needed.

Anything that comes through will always be shared with your consent, with warmth, and with the same care I bring to every session.

If you are specifically seeking connection with those who have passed, a dedicated mediumship session will always serve that intention most fully. But know that in any session, the door is never entirely closed.

What are your qualifications?

I am a Reiki Master Teacher, trained and attuned through all levels of the Usui Shiki Ryoho system. I also hold a certificate in Akashic Records studies. I do not hold formal certifications in tarot or mediumship; these are intuitive gifts that have been developed through dedicated study, training, and practice. Do you offer readings for children?

I offer distance reiki for children, always with energetic consent from their higher self as described above. I do not offer tarot readings for children at this time.

Do you offer sessions in languages other than English?

All sessions are currently conducted in English. While I speak other languages, I want to ensure that every session receives my fullest attention and clarity. For now, English is how I can best deliver that.
